World Veterinary Day is celebrated every year on last saturday of April. On this year, 2023 we celebrated world veterinary day on April 29 with the theme,'“Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness in the Veterinary Profession.'
This day is celebrated to draw attention to the work done by veterinary professionals, organizations, and others to promote justice and equity. In a diverse world, there needs to be a special emphasis on removing obstacles and enhancing inclusiveness through diversity, equity, and inclusion policies and practices. The promotion and use of diversity, equity, and inclusion improves the wellbeing of all veterinarians.
On this occasion of World Veterinary Day- 2023, IVSA Paklihawa participated in the program organized by Nepal Veterinary Association Lumbini Province in collaboration with IAAS Paklihawa Campus under the chairmanship of Dr. Yuvraj Panth (President, NVA-Lumbini Province).
The rally was spanned from Butwal Buspark to Devinagar, spreading awareness about the critical role of veterinary professionals in safeguarding animal health and ended up with an informative and captivative drama.
