On 22 Sept. 2023, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of International Veterinary
Students’ Association (IVSA) Paklihawa took place. IVSA Paklihawa had completed the
tenure of 2022/23 and has entered into its 8th season with much enthusiastic team.
The program was chaired by Mr. Sujit Regmi (President-IVSA Paklihawa 2022/23) and
hosted by Mr. Min Bahadur Oli (Secretary, IVSA Paklihawa 2022/23). In the program, Dr.
Yuvraj Panth (President, NVA- Lumbini Province), Dr. Ganga Prasad Yadav ( Asst. Prof.
IAAS, TU) , Dr. Suman Singh Rajput (( Asst. Prof. IAAS, TU), Dr. Subash Belbase (Past President,
IVSA Paklihawa) Dr. Santosh Panta (Former President, IVSA Paklihawa), Mr. Pratik Kiju (Former
Exchange Officer, IVSA Nepal), Dr. Santosh Yadav (Vetrinary officer at quarantine office, Behaliya),
Dr. Shuvaa Sharma (Past President, IVSA Paklihawa), Mr. Pramod Kumar Chaudhary (President,
IVSA Nepal) served as the guests. And total 75 participants were present in the event.
The program was inaugurated with a welcome speech by Mr. Pradeep Kumar Shah (EO,
IVSA Paklihawa 22/23) and continued with Mr. Sujit Regmi (President, IVSA Paklihawa
22/23) with a presentation showing all the events and activities done within this tenure, along
with global achievements and proud moments captured by members of IVSA Paklihawa.
Further, Mr. Saurabh Bastola (Treasurer, IVSA Paklihawa 22/23) presented the monetary
report of the tenure showing net profit of NRP Rs. 10,500 in total to be handed to the new
committee.
Later, the guests Dr. Suman Singh Rajput, Dr. Santosh Panta, Dr. Yuvraj Panta gave
their short speech and wishes the new forming committee for successful tenure. Lastly
the formal session was ended with the speech of Mr. Sujit regmi and the Election
Committee was formed for declaration of the new committee. The President of the Election
Committee was Mrs. Madhavi Pokhrel (Past exchange officer, IVSA Nepal) and the
Secretary of the Election Committee was Mr. Anil Pokhrel (Past PRC, IVSA Nepal)

The event lasted for about 2 hours long. Everyone congratulated the old committee of 2022/23
for a successful tenure and wished the newly formed committee of 2023/24 all the very best
for a successful year ahead.
