Scabies Treatment Program

IVSA NPI successfully conducted Scabies Treatment Program around Bhojad, Bharatpur-10. There was a high infestation of parasites in these areas and many dogs had scabies problems. Street dogs were applied with lotion and treated with medications.

Scabies is an infestation of the skin by the human itch mite (Sarcoptes scabiei var. hominins). The microscopic scabies mite burrows into the upper layer of the skin where it lives and lays its eggs. The most common symptoms of scabies are intense itching and a pimple-like skin rash.

The program was conducted under Krishna Sapkota(Editor, IVSA NPI).

IVSA NPI is thankful to Nirdista Pathak (Immediate past Exchange Officer )and all the helping hands and all the students who were presented to work To gain Knowledge and benefit animals during this program.
