Local chapters at Rampur and Paklihawa organized two-week long various events at their respective areas to raise awareness and vaccinated the stray dogs,cats to celebrate the World Rabies Day. President says “Its the aim of Global Alliance for Rabies Control to eradicate Rabies by 2013 and we are following the same path.”
IVSA Nepal, Rampur Chapter have successfully accomplished their event by school awareness in Vishwoprakash HSS, Narayani HSS, Gunjanagar HSS where more than 600 students were durectly benefitted and vaccinated more than 200 dogs and cats via Free AntiRabies Vaccination at Parwatipur, Foolbari, Furtichok, Bhanuchok,Nabin Chok (in Chitwan) in close collaboration with DLSO Chitwan. Further more, in close coordination with Himalayan Animal Rescue Trust, a week school awareness and vaccination was scheduled at Sauraha, Chitwan via which more than 200 students and more than 200 dogs were directly benefitted.
Whilst, in collaboration with Yes Agriculture and DLSO Rupandehi, Paklihawa Chapter celebrated the Rabies Day via events from September 16-27 which included awareness rally and drama on first day and vaccination to more than 150 dogs and also school awareness.
IVSA Nepal participated in the awareness rally organized by Nepal Veterinary Association at Kathmandu and Bharatpur.
