On its journey of enhancing and uplifting veterinary education, IVSA Rampur successfully conducted the 3rd edition of NATIONAL INTER-COLLEGE VETERINARY QUIZ COMPETITION on 31st august, 2019 at Rampur. The whole program was divided into two sessions viz. Formal session and Technical session. The former was conducted under the chairmanship of Mr. Amrit Pandey, President of IVSA Rampur.IVSA Rampur is overwhelmed with the presence of Prof. Dr. IP Dhakal, Immediate past Vice-Chancellor of Agriculture and Forestry University & patron of IVSA Nepal as a Chief Guest of the program and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Rebanta Kumar Bhattarai, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dipesh Kumar Chhetri (Director VTH, AFU Rampur) & Mr. Binod Pokhrel (President of IVSA Nepal) as a special guest of the program. IVSA Rampur is further pleased with the presence of Assis. Prof. Dr. Ananta Dahal, Assis. Prof. Dr. Gokarna Gautam, Dr. Bishnu Hari Sharma (Charter EO, IVSA Nepal), Dr. Manoj Lamichhane Sharma (Charter secretary General, IVSA Nepal), Dr. Rabin Raut(Former IYVA co-ordinator), Dr. Ganesh Adhikari & Biplov Sapkota (EO, IVSA Nepal) as a guest of the program.
Participants representing all four veterinary institutions of Nepal made this edition of the program more competitive and interactive. A selection round was done ahead of the final round from where the top 8 teams were taken to the final round. The winning team of the program was the team of Mr.Janashrit Shrestha and Mr. Dinesh Aryal, AFU Rampur. Similarly, the team of Mr. Raju Pd. Neupane and Sankalpa Panthee, and Mr. Prem L. Mahato and Ms. Richu Thapa of AFU Rampur became the first runner up and 2nd runner up respectively. The winning teams were awarded certificates and cash prizes at the end of the program.
