On its journey of endorsing One Health Principle and creating awareness, IVSA Rampur successfully conducted the 'Antimicrobial Resistance Poster Art Competition 2019' on 30th November 2019 at Rampur. The whole program was divided into mainly two sessions, the first session being the observation and judgment phase and the second formal session in which results were also declared. The judgment session was completed by judges Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dipesh Kumar Chetri, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rebanta Kumar, Asst. Prof.Dr. Himal Luitel, Dr. Manoj Lamichhane, and Dr. Ganesh Adhikari. About two dozens of poster makers participated in the competition and each and every poster were enthusiastically judged by our judges.
The formal session was conducted under the chairmanship of Mr. Sudip Regmi, President of IVSA Rampur. IVSA Rampur was overwhelmed to have Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dipesh Kumar Chetri as Chief guest of the formal session and Assoc Prof Dr. Rebanta Kr Bhattarai and Asst. Prof. Dr. Himal Luitel as special guests. The formal session was hosted by Samin Dahal, secretary of IVSA Rampur and guests and attendants in the formal session were welcomed by Programme Coordinator Prem GM. After it, Asst. Prof. Dr. Himal Luitel and Assoc. Prof Dr. Rebanta Kr Bhattarai gave a short and informative speech about the global concern of rising antimicrobial resistance. Results were declared by the Chief Guest Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dipesh Kr. Chhetri. Winners of the poster competition were Reshma Shrestha and Bhawana Bhandari whereas Bhawana Regmi and Pradip Bhandari were runners up. A cash prize of Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 were provided to the winners and runners up. Finally, the formal session ended after certificates were distributed to the winners and to all participants.
