Career Campfire: Season-02, Episode-01

On this 24th march 2023, International Veterinary Students' Association (IVSA) Paklihawa, successfully conducted the first episode of CAREER CAMPFIRES, Season-2 on "Technical Knowledge on Commonly Used Veterinary Medicines" . As this episode was targeted for the students of 9th semester we had had our resource persons Dr. Bebina Pandey (Techno-Commercial manager at MDH) and Ishwor Chaudhary (Marketing Representative at MDH pharmaceuticals). The episode began with the welcome speech by Mr. Abhishek adhikari (Standing Committee On Veterinary Education), who talked about the Career Campfires and it's earlier episode. And the whole episode was moderated by Mr. Min bahadur Oli (Secretary, IVSA Paklihawa). The program was divided into formal and informal sessions.

The formal program started at 4:30 PM. The program was coordinated by Mr. Anish Khanal, ExCo Member of IVSA Paklihawa. We had Associate Professor Dr. Ram Bhajan Mandal, as our chief guest, Assistant Professor Dr. Nishant Sah, Assistant Professor Dr. Suman Kumar Singh, Assistant Professor Dr. Ganga Prasad Yadav, Assistant Professor Dr.Rakesh Yadav, Assistant Professor Dr. Sirjan Bastola, Dr. Subash Belbase (Veterinary Officer at Siyari Rural Municipality ), Dr. Santosh Yadav ( Veterinary Officer at Animal Quarantine Office), Prakash Rawal (Former President of IVSA Paklihawa) , Samikshya Bhusal (Exchange Officer of IVSA Nepal) , Karishma Pokhrel (Former EO of IVSA Nepal), Anil Pokhrel ( PRC at IVSA Nepal).

The informal session was started at 5:15 PM. During informal session, Informative talk on the topic, 'Technical Knowledge on Commonly Used Veterinary Medicines" was given by Dr. Bebina Pandey. A total of 90 students participated and took benefit of the program. At around 6:30 PM Dr. Bebina Pandey concluded the porgram. The program was a grand success. We are determined to carry on these types of projects in the coming days and the episode was finally concluded with some remarkable words by Mr. Sujit Regmi (President, IVSA Paklihawa).The session lasted for about two hours.
