Hunger Relief Program

On November 14, 2022, Standing Committee on Animal Welfare (SCAW), IVSA Paklihawa conducted a Hunger Relief Program in Ranigaun and meudihawa of Siddharthanagar, Rupandehi. The program started at about 8 am and took about four and a half hours to complete. IVSA committee members and student volunteer were involved. Total of 200 street dogs were fed in the program. There was a presentation presented by Mr. Sujit Regmi (President, IVSA Paklihawa) The presentation explained how animals turn into streets, myths about street animals and problems they face, their welfare needs, the current scenario of animal welfare, and what students can do for them. During the session, participants were tought on the knowledge and myth of different people related to animal welfare and their suggestions as to how to improve it by IVSA Paklihawa. 

This program is newly added program on the IVSA Paklihawa calendar program. The main motive of this program is to make people aware to feed the street animals roaming around their locality. We believe that every animal need to get enough food and warm and safe shelter.
