On 14th October,2023 IVSA Paklihawa participated in "Rotary District 3292's Polio Awareness Rally
and Half Marathon" which was held in Siddharthanagar Municipality in order to raise awareness among people
about the need to work together to end polio for good.
Since the Global Polio Eradication Initiative was established, the prevalence of polio has fallen by 99%
since 1988. Fewer cases are still being recorded in different parts of the world. No child deserves to experience
these pains. This programme aimed the target of providing an opportunity to highlight global efforts toward a
polio-free world and honor the tireless contributions of those on the frontlines.
On unwavering support for the EndPolio Initiative, around 20 members of IVSA family assembled at
Lumbini Gate in hundreds and marched on with the goal of eradicating polio from the planet.
