According to the Program Schedule of Rabies week, IVSA Rampur has successfully conducted Radio Talk programs regarding Rabies Awareness on the 25th of September, 2020.
Miss Dikshya Khanal, Exchange Officer of IVSA Rampur was hosted by Miss Ganga Bishwokarma at the program "Janachaso" on "Radio Darpan 99.2 Mhz" located at Madhyabindu-7, Nawalpur.
Similarly, Miss Yashoda Khadka, Executive Committee Member of IVSA Rampur was hosted by Mr. Dipak Basnet on the weekly program "Swasthya Sarokar" which was broadcasted on "Tamakoshi FM 95.00mhz" located at Tamakoshi-4, Dolakha.
During these shows, the different aspects of Rabies, it's transmission &prevention and efforts of IVSA Rampur and IVSA Nepal in combating the disease from the community level were discussed.
The "Radio Talk Show" provided us an opportunity to raise awareness at the community level despite the shutdown of COVID-19. It also provided a platform to encourage them for being a helping hand in the global strategy of rabies prevention.
We are thankful to the respective FMs for providing us this opportunity.
