SECOND EPISODE OF CAREER CAMPFIRES, SEASON-1 ON "CAREER CAMPFIRES: COLIC- HOW TO APPROACH A CASE?"

On this 17th January2021,International Veterinary Students' Association (IVSA) Paklihawa successfully conducted the  second episode of CAREER CAMPFIRES, Season-1 on "CAREERCAMPFIRES: COLIC - HOWToAPPROACH A CASE?" virtually via zoom.As this episode was targeted for the case handling of  "Colic",  we had had our resource persons from IVSA Equine Community;Ms. Catherine Ross(Event manager, IVSA Equine Community) and Ms. ZuZabinska(Liaison Officer, IVSA Equine Community).

The episode began with the welcome speech by Mr. AlokDhakal(Standing Committee On Veterinary Education), who talked about the Career Campfires and it's earlier episode. And the whole episode was moderated by Mr. Prakash Rawal (Secretary, IVSA Paklihawa).

At first, Ms.ZuZabinska gave an  introduction about the IVSA Equine Community and explained about its  aim, community members, projects, different events, webinars and the processes to join this community.After the introduction of IVSA Equine Community, Ms. Catherine Ross explained about the case handling of Colic which is seen in equine, through her presentation.She explained how to approach the case of Colic from the owner's farm to the hospital/clinic and what things should a veterinarian must do to diagnose and treat the patient, based on her experiences. The queries from the participants about the topic were cleared by Ms Ross.

And the episode was finally concluded with some remarkable words by Mr.Ashwini Kumar Jha (Exchange Officer, IVSA Paklihawa). There were about 35 participants selected from the preregistration from. The session lasted for about two hours.
