On 9th January 2021, International Veterinary Students’ Association (IVSA) Paklihawa,organized a program continuing the " Study Circle" in the college premises. It was the sixth session of the Study Circle. The resource persons were Mr. Pratik Kiju (Former Exchange Officer, IVSA Nepal) and Mr. Sudhakar Gupta (Member, IVSA Equine Community).
The session was conducted by Mr.AlokDhakal(SCoVE coordinator, IVSA Paklihawa) and the session was divided into two phases. In the first phase, theoretical aspects of suturing techniques were described. And in the second phase, practical demonstration on suturing was proceeded. Mr. Kiju had explained the suture, its types and importance whereas Mr. Gupta demonstrated the suturing techniques.
The session lasted for about three hours with the presence of 25 participants, selected in accordance to the registration form. All the participants were made aware about different knots and suturing techniques most commonly used in practise.
