Celebrating “National Poultry Day- 2076”
With the aim of upgrading skills to the students of Agriculture and Veterinary Sectors,
International Veterinary Students’ Association - Paklihawa (IVSA - Paklihawa), a local
chapter of IVSA-Nepal, conducted the Study Circle Session-5 as well as the Training Program
on “Caponization” on the occasion of “National Poultry Day- 2076” (1 st January 2020).
We invited Mr. Bhagiram Chaudhary as a resource person from Dang, Nepal who is quite
experienced in this work. After the registration form shared through the official site of IVSA-
Paklihawa in social media i.e. Instagram, Facebook etc., the number of participants were listed
out in groups.
There were more than 50 students in the training program and the program was
divided into two shifts containing 25 students in each group. Each groups were provided with the
two samples of chicken and they followed the instructions in the same way as per the instructor.
All the enthusiastic participants sharpend their skills and were satisfied through the training.
