BASICS ON ARTICLE AND RESEARCH PAPER STUDYING IN VETERINARY SCIENCE
With the theme of "Making education a free good for all veterinary students in the world"-SCoVE(IVSA) ,IVSA Paklihawa conducted the third session of study circle dated 30th August, 2019 with the much awaited presentation on "Basics on article and research paper studying in veterinary science". It includes:
a) Popular Veterinary sites for studying Article and Research Paper and their extraction.
b)Idea to prepare reference, in text citation and footnote/endnote
c) Paraphrasing and Plagarism
The program was coordinated by Mr. Ashwini Kumar Jha ( SCoVE Co-ordinator, IVSA Paklihawa) and was presented by Mr. Aashish Gyawali (Former Exchange Officer, IVSA Paklihawa) and Mr. Swochhal Prakash Shrestha (Treasurer, IVSA Nepal). There were more than 50 students in the program. Ideas about the possible ways of extraction of an article in the sites accessible in Nepal like "Research Gates", "Nepal Journal Online","ORCID" etc were pointed out. Similarly the use of Mendeley Software to prepare citations, reference, footnote/ endnotes or to upload published to unpublished thesis and the way to use it was also demonstrated. The presenters expressed possible ways to minimize plagarism through paraphrasing and achieve greater clarifications. The program was really friutful and there were all the positive responses from everyone. The program ended with the expression of deep enthusiasm of studying and giving a try to write articles by the students.
