Hosting IVSA India in Nepal – 2022

 

The international exchange with IVSA India was held from December 11 to December 18, 2022. The key events of the exchange program were:

Day 1st ( 11th December 2022)

On the very first day, ivsa_nepal & local chapter ivsa_ paklihawa welcomed members from Ivsa India at the Sunauli border. They visited Paklihawa Campus including the farm, administration, and campus premises.

In the evening,  there was a small formal program and a short cultural program performed by the students of the Paklihawa Campus where some of the ivsa members from India showed their talents too.

Day 2nd (12th December 2022)

On the next day, December 12th, fellow members from IVSA India along with members from IVSA Paklihawa left for Lumbini. They visited the Mayadevi temple and witnessed the remaining of the Shakya Dynasty, Ashoka Pillar and 7 steps of Lord Gautam Budhha imprinted on the stone.

After visiting Lumbini the members left for Sauraha from Butwal. Before leaving they handed over some gifts to the members of IVSA Paklihawa as a gesture of love.

Day 3rd (13th December, 2022)

On the third day i.e. 13th December,  of the IVSA International Exchange program, members of IVSA India visited the following places:

-Chitwan National Park, Sauraha surrounding areas

-Elephant Breeding Center

-Rampur Campus and the premises

-NPI college

In the evening, left for Kathmandu and reached Kathmandu at Night

Day 4th (14th December, 2022)

On the fourth day i.e. 14th  December, the International Exchange went forward like this:

- reached Kathmandu and welcomed by IVSA HICAST

- visited and toured HICAST college and had an interaction program with IVSA HICAST

- visited Swyambhunath temple also famous for the name monkey temple

-visited Patan Durbar Square

- visited Basantapur Durbar Square

Day 5th (15th  December, 2022)

The fifth day was scheduled as an early morning visit to Pashupatinath temple and in the afternoon the members of IVSA India departed for Pokhara from Kathmandu. They reached Pokhara around 7 PM and managed to visit the lakeside of Pokhara at night.                                                                                                                                                         

Day 6th (16th December, 2022)

The sixth day(16th December) of the IVSA International Exchange, was scheduled as:

- visit to Devi’s fall and Gupteswor Cave

- visit world Peace pagoda

-  hike to Pumdikot

- return to Stupa  

-boating across Phewa lake

- visit Taal Barahi

- night stay at a hotel

Day seventh (17th  December, 2022)

The seventh day(17th December) of the IVSA International Exchange was continued by visiting the other places of Pokhara and witnessing sunrise at Sarangkot. And at night around 8 PM the members from IVSA India departed to Paklihawa.

Day eighth (18th December, 2022)

On the final day (18th  December) of the IVSA International Exchange, members from IVSA India reached Paklihawa in the morning. A token of love was handed over to IVSA India by IVSA Paklihawa as a departure gift. After that, they departed to Sunauli from Paklihawa.
